The route for qualification to the Fall Showdown will culminate in the GAM3RS_X EU Champions tournament.
The long path to qualification to the BLAST Premier Fall Showdown for the Western European region has been revealed, where teams from Poland, Benelux, DACH, France, UK and Ireland, and EU West will take part.
There are eight slots available in the GX EU Champions tournament, taking place September 15-17, with the winner grabbing themselves a berth for the BLAST Premier Fall Showdown. Each region will have separate qualification routes.
The regional breakdown for the event is as follows:
First, open qualifiers will be held in the Baltic, DACH, France, UK and Ireland, and EUW regions to determine who will join the teams directly invited to the closed qualifiers. The top team from the Baltic closed qualifier will get a spot in the EUW closed qualifier.
Then, the top two teams from the EUW qualifier and the top team each from the DACH, France and UK and Ireland qualifiers will progress to the GX EU Champions event.
The qualification routes for the Poland and Benelux regions are yet to be announced.
